Minnesota Hockey is excited to invite you to join the CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Tier 1 Leagues for 2001 and 2002 birth years. The CCM HP Tier 1 League is an expanded and enhanced version of our Fall HP 14/15 program (which will no longer be provided). The League is designed to provide the best players in Minnesota with an opportunity to train with and against each other while preparing for their Bantam, 15U, and High School seasons.

Tryouts

District 5 tryouts will be held at the St. Cloud MAC arena on the following dates and times:

2001 Boys
August 6th, 9:30-11:00 am (Ritsche rink)
August 7th, 11:15-12:45 pm (Torrey rink)

2001 Girls
August 6th, 11:15-12:45 pm (Ritsche rink)
August 7th, 12:15-1:45 pm (Ritsche rink)

2002 Boys
August 5th, 6:00-5:15 pm (Ritsche rink)
August 6th, 1:00-2:30 pm (Ritsche rink)

2002 Girls
August 5th, 6:30-7:45 pm (Ritsche rink)
August 6th, 2:45-4:15 pm (Ritsche rink)

Registration will open in early May through the Minnesota Hockey website. When it is available, the link will be posted on the District 5 website, under the Tier 1 tab, and I will also send it on an email blast. The cost of the tryout will be $85.

Games & Schedule

Following tryouts, each team will be formed with 20 players (2 goalies, 6 defensemen, and 12 forwards). The teams will then have 22 hours of practice time from August 13 - September 29th. The Boys 14 and 15 teams will practice together and the Girls 14 and 15 teams will practice together.

Games will also be played at various Festival sites. Each weekend the team will play 3 (90 minute) games. Each team will play a minimum of 12 total games.

Cost for each player on the District 5 Tier 1 team will be $650.

September 30-October 2 (League Playoffs) = Super Rink (Blaine)
October 7-8 (MN District Playoff - Not all teams make it this far) = Super Rink (Blaine)

Girls 15
August 26-28 = Duluth Heritage Center
September 9-11 = Eden Prairie Community Center
September 16-18 = New Hope Arena
September 23-25 = Sanford Center (Bemidji State)
September 30-October 2 (League Playoffs) = Braemar Arena (Edina)
​October 7-8 (MN District Playoff - Not one for this level as there is not a National tournament)

Boys 14
August 26-28 = Doug Woog Arena (South St. Paul)
September 9-11 = Sanford Center (Bemidji State)
September 16-18 = Ridder/Mariucci (University of Minnesota)
September 23-25 = Bernick's Arena (Sartell)
